Irvine based Plastic Mouldings has commissioned Dunning Design to update their corporate identity and design new promotional literature. This is supported by a creative marketing campaign designed to increase Plastic Mouldings coverage in specific market sectors and communicate their unique service offering.

Sponsorship of HIT Scotland Industry Dinner
For the third year running, Dunning Design join Coca Cola, Diageo and Waverly Vintners as sponsors of the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland Annual Dinner at The Hilton on 25th March 2004. The prestigious black tie event attracted over 700 guests and raised in excess of £75,000 for the HIT Scotland charity.

Corporate identity and annual advertising campaign win
DMH Baird Lumsden, the 100 year old Bridge of Allan and Edinburgh based country property advisors has commissioned Dunning Design to update their corporate identity and create a new annual advertising campaign. The advertising campaign is the launch-pad for the new identity and creatively communicates the company's full range of services in a modern and professional way.

Dunning Design create promotion material for The New Glaswegians Projects
Dunning Design has won the contract to create an employers pack for the city's "New Glaswegians Projects". This is an innovative new project aimed at helping employers to bridge the current skill shortages in their industries by using the valuable skills and experience of refugees. The new promotional pack has generated a great deal of interest since its launch at the City Chambers at the end of February 2004.

It's official, using design effectively makes you more profitable...
The Design Council has recently completed an analysis of the performance of UK FTSE quoted companies over the last ten years, between 1994 and 2003, encompassing a long bull market period, from March 1995 to March 2000, the bear market period from March 2000 to March 2003, and the more recent recovery period. The key finding of the study is that a group of 63 companies identified to be effective users of design outperformed the FTSE 100 index over the full period by 200%, and also beat their peers in the recent bull and bear markets.

Board appointment
Claire Dunning who has been a Council Director at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce for the last two years has now been appointed to the Chamber Board of Management. Claire says of her appointment:
"I'm delighted to step up to the board at the Chamber. As an organisation it has provided Dunning Design with a great deal in the way of networking, training and business support opportunities and I see my appointment as a way to influence and enhance the service and opportunities available to other Glasgow businesses."
