Glasgow Business Awards Successes
The Crowne Plaza was the venue for the prestigious 2006 Glasgow Business Awards. A broad diversity of organisations attended and their talent and business acumen new and old were recognised at the glittering city “Business Oscars” ceremony.
Dunning Design’s involvement included creating all the graphics and branding for the event as well as sponsoring the Dunning Design Award for Best Performing Business (10 employees or under). Claire Dunning presented the award to Consol (Scotland) Ltd who provide training and management consultancy to the construction sector.
The night was further enhanced by the very talented musical theatre students from the School of Dance in Knightswood who entertained the audience and received rapturous applause for their performance.

Dunning Design Celebrate 10 Years of Business Success
Not ones to shy away from a celebration, Dunning Design embraced reaching double digits by throwing a party to celebrate their success.
The event took place in Tiger Tiger on the 9th of March and was a fast paced affair designed to provide something for everyone. Good food and drink were enjoyed by a myriad of friends, family and business contacts alike and the entertainment allowed all guests to pit their wits against each other in the form of a giant Scalextric.
Needless to say the competitive spirit was alive and kicking, and some surprise demon drivers emerged - Julian’s mum was the biggest revelation of the night!
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate our success. Please view our slideshow of photographs taken at the party below...

Dunning Design Move into Glasgow City Centre
After being located in the east end of Glasgow for over six years Dunning Design has relocated to the city centre.
Director Julian Westaby thinks the move is a positive one for the company:
"Moving in to Mitchell Street and the G1 area of Glasgow has been one of our objectives for 2006. We are nearer our client base and it provides an instant resource and inspiration for us as designers, the Lighthouse is literally round the corner along with a myriad of other architectural and design influences on our doorstep. The team here are delighted with our new location."
