Floodline Kids Online Animations
The Challenge
To create engaging online animated guides for children to learn about water, rivers and coasts, how to prepare for floods and to understand the threat of climate change.
The Solution
An 3D animated character was created to guide young readers through the site and to engage them in learning about floodline and issues affecting us all. Streaming flash movies with simple, colourful graphics, subtitles and a glossary of terms, helped the reader to easily understand the topics.
The Results
The use of rich media has helped to communicate the issues raised by Floodline.
